Cat Beds - Do You Need One?by Helen Greene Cats are beautiful animals. If you have a cat, you know that they are the best pets to have around. Your cat will absolutely love you if you get them a cat bed. A cat bed will give them somewhere comfortable to sleep (and let's face it, cats love sleeping!). A cat bed gives them their own space, somewhere to get away from the hurly burly of their daily life, somewhere where they can feel safe and secure and where nothing is going to bother them. A good idea, especially if you have children, is to make a rule that when the cat is on his or her own bed they are not to be disturbed. Your cat will soon learn that they have a place they can call their very own - a place where they can sleep in peace. Cats can easily suffer stress so a quiet place where they can recharge is vital. A cat bed means too that there is one place where they can spend a lot of time, meaning that when they are moulting their fur will mostly end up on their bed, making it easy for you to clean up. Usually they also come with a removable cover which is easy to wash. This makes owning a cat so much more enjoyable for you. If your cat has it's own bed he or she is more likely to stay at home and do less wandering. We all know how much cats love a little bit of luxury! It is natural for cats to want to get out and about - of course they need their exercise - but when it comes to sleeping they need somewhere comfortable. If you are having problems keeping your cat off your own bed, a bed of their own is the perfect solution.
